Want to know how I lost 13.8 lbs. in 10 days?
The ironic thing is that I was not trying to lose weight but instead detox myself. In other words remove poisons from my body.
This is my journey for the Master Cleanse Detox with a goal of 10 days. I am calling this “Day 0″ because it’s actually a day before I start the program. I am going to keep all of these short and sweet and I wanted to share my experience with you.
I know many of you have questions about the Master Cleanse and so did I before I started. I am not going to tell you how do anything but I will tell you what I did to achieve a goal that was way over do.
As part of my Master Cleanse regimen I did some light walking. I also want to state that this is not a weight loss program. The Master Cleanse is just that, to cleanse the toxins in your body and the bonus is the weight loss.
If you don’t already know me, I am know to drink and like to drink. Well I stopped a little early on before I decided to go with the Master Cleanse program.
This was a difficult thing for me to do as I am always around alcohol beverages and unhealthy food that I love to devour every chance I get. I am type to eat everything I see and enjoy it. I am like a goat I guess.
As for the alcohol, I am always at places that serve it and before I even sit down I usually have a drink coming my way. That’s good and bad at the same time. Good as in I get great service from the girls and bad as in I am always indulging myself.
The problem is that if I decline a drink everyone seems to think that there is something wrong with me. Well I had to do this for 10 days. I even turned down free food! (What kind of friend am I?)
I started on December 30, 2008 Tuesday, and I ate rice and fish in the morning. If you are wondering I don’t eat foods based on breakfast, lunch or dinner. I eat what I like at any giving time. In the evening went to my friends Oscar’s place to eat some of his Spanish food and that was great.
Since I knew that this was my last time that I could eat any food I decided to to munch on 3 fudge striped cookies with caramel chips served with milk. I was in heaven. Before I went to bed I did my first SWF (salt water flush).
192.8 lbs was my weight in the morning. I wanted to keep track of my progress.
I was every excited to get started so bought the supplies for the Master Cleanse so that I can start the process.
Here is recipe that I used for 1 day serving:
1.) 64 oz. of purified water.
2,) 8 oz. of organic maple syrup - grade B.
3.) 8 oz. of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
4.) 1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper. (This may be to much for most people so you can do this to taste)
Every morning and night I do a SWF (salt water flush).
1.) 32 oz of water with non-iodized organic sea salt.
Some people can not tolerate the taste and have to use an herbal laxative tea at night and in the morning. I prefer the SWF because I know within 45-90 minutes I will be done with this for the day and unlike the tea where as if you were to go about your day and then BAM!! You know what I mean.
To include I just started walking around a lake near my place with a trail. I walked 2 times around. As part of the cleanse I also wanted to get in better shape so walking at a fast pace was another means for me to burn off the fat.
